Region 7 Sixers is a group in Oregon and Washington that manages a network of 6-meter amateur radio repeaters in Cascadia using standardized hardware and thoughtful system design
6-meter repeaters are rare. It’s not a highly occupied band like 2-meter or UHF, so it’s a fun space to work in. All of our sites all linked together and use the following standardized hardware:
- GE MASTR II for repeater
- Loop Dipole antennas
- Shorty or 1/4-wave cans as duplexers
